At approximately 10am this morning, the Holtsville Fire Department responded to this car fire in front of 750 Blue Point Road. The fire was quickly brought under control with the response of two engines and all three chiefs. No injuries were reported.

Holtsville FD Firefighters Visit Preschool
Holtsville Fire Department brings fire prevention to RACE STARS Preschool. Firefighters reinforced what the teachers had been teaching all week about the importance of fire safety, having a fire plan and meeting space, and what to do when you need help or hear a fire alarm.
2-Car MVA on LIE
On October 25th around 10:35pm Holtsville Fire Department was activated for a 2 car MVA heavy rescue, east of exit 61 on east bound LIE. Rescue 4, engine 3 and engine 6 responded along with HFD ambulance 16 and Farmingville FD ambulance 16. 2 patients were transported to a local hospital for injuries.

Holtsville FD Engine 3 Responds to Mutual Aid Structure Fire
At approximately 4:10pm, the Holtsville Fire Department was activated for an engine to standby to cover the Lakeland Fire District during a structure fire. While enroute, Holtsville Engine 3 was notified to redirect to the scene and responded as an extra engine. Holtsville members operated on scene for just over an hour.
