Early this morning around 4:30 AM, Holtsville Engine 3 was assigned as the RIT unit for a working residential fire on Gogel Street in the Holbrook Fire District. Engine 3 was the first mutual aid to arrive on scene and was put to work, conducting overhaul and searches in the fire area. Units operated for about an hour and a half before returning to service.
