Holtsville FD Responds to Structure Fire in Farmingville

At approximately 11am, the Holtsville Fire Department responded as a second due mutual aid engine to a residential structure fire to the Farmingville Fire Department. Units arrived to heavy fire showing in the front of the house and quickly stretched a second line. Holtsville FD members operated mainly on the second floor conducting searches as well as extinguishing fire. The fire was brought under control in approximately an hour and a half.
