On Sunday May 1st, 2022 the Holtsville Fire Department hosted memorial services for Suffolk County Firefighters Association to honor all the members of service in Suffolk County that passed away in last year.
Holtsville FD RIT Responds to Lakeland Fire District
Today at approximately 10:00am, Holtsville Engine 3 responded to this working fire in the Lakeland Fire District on Baeck Street. Holtsville was assigned the RIT unit and operated for approximately an hour and a half before returning to service.
Holtsville FD Responds to Car Fire on LIE
Holtsville firefighters handled this car fire on the Long Island Expressway last week. The Second Assistant Chief was the first to arrive, shortly after followed by Engine 5. Engine 3 and Holtsville EMS also assisted at the scene.

Holtsville Engine 3 Responds to Mutual Aid in Selden
At approximately 2:21pm, Holtsville’s Engine 3 responded to a mutual aid working structure fire in the Selden Fire District. Holtsville S3 responded as an extra engine and operated for about an hour and a half.

Holtsville FD Responds to Ronkonkoma Fire District
Earlier this week, The Holtsville Fire Department responded to this fire in the Ronkonkoma Fire District. Holtsville Truck 7 was the second due truck and operated on the floor above the fire where they found extension from the basement. Crews worked for about two hours before returning to service.
