The Holtsville Fire Department operated as the FAST team at this structure fire in the Setauket Fire District yesterday. Units operated for approximately 3 hours before returning to service.

Holtsville NY: Firefighters responded to a vehicle fire on Express Drive North, in front of the Waverly Soccer Fields, shortly after 9pm. The fire was quickly extinguished with no injuries.

At 1:00 this morning, The Holtsville Fire Department responded to this car fire on the Long Island Expressway. Engine 6 made quick work of the involved auto and were back in service in about a half hour.

At approximately 4:45am, The Holtsville Fire Department was taking up from a reported structure fire in the Farmingville Fire District when the Selden Fire Department transmitted a working fire down the road. Last night at approximately 11:00 pm, The Holtsville Fire Department operated as the FAST team at this structure fire in the Selden Fire District. First arriving units were met with a heavy fire load in the rear of the building and worked diligently to extinguish the fire. Holtsville units operated for about 2 hours.

Today at approximately 8:45am, The Holtsville Fire Department responded as an automatic mutual aid engine for a structure fire in the Farmingville Fire District. Crews were met with heavy fire in the rear of the house extending to upper floors upon arrival. Photo credit to the photographer.

On May 17th approximately 5:40pm, the Holtsville Fire Department responded to a brush fire in the Morris Ave park. Multiple Holtsville units worked diligently to bring the fire under control in approximately 45 mins. The Farmingville Fire Department responded with a brush truck to assist with mop up operations. At approximately 11:15 AM, the Holtsville Fire Department responded to a working structure fire in the Holbrook Fire District. Holtsville’s crew was the first mutual aid unit on scene and was utilized as the FAST team. Units operated for about an hour and a half before returning back to service.
