On May 17th approximately 5:40pm, the Holtsville Fire Department responded to a brush fire in the Morris Ave park. Multiple Holtsville units worked diligently to bring the fire under control in approximately 45 mins. The Farmingville Fire Department responded with a brush truck to assist with mop up operations.
