At approximately 3:15 pm, The Holtsville Fire Department responded the intersection of Long Island Ave and Gazebo Lane for a motor vehicle accident with a trapped occupant. The 2nd Assistant Chief arrived on scene first and confirmed a victim was still trapped in the vehicle. Rescue 4 arrived on scene and put the tools to work with assistance form Engine 3. The Chief of Department had command of the scene and one victim was transported to a local hospital with injuries.
