Holtsville FD Responds as RIT to Selden Fire District

At approximately 2:20 AM this morning, Holtsville Engine 3 responded as the RIT to this residential fire on South Bicycle Path in the Selden Fire District. Members operated for just over an hour before returning to service.

Shortly after midnight, Holtsville Engine 3 responded to the Medford Fire District for a brush fire on Sipp Avenue. Engine 3 went mobile on foot, utilizing rakes and forestry lines to help contain the fire for approximately 2 hours. At 2AM, Engine 3 and the First Assistant Chief were released by Medford Command to respond to a Fire in a Motel in the North Patchogue Fire District.
