Holtsville Engine 3 responded to this house fire on Evans Ave this morning in the North Patchogue Fire District. Engine 3 was originally assigned RIT duties but due to a quick response, members were put to work for fire duty upon arriving on scene. Units operated for about an hour and a half before returning to service.
