Last night at approximately 11:00 pm, The Holtsville Fire Department operated as the FAST team at this structure fire in the Selden Fire District. First arriving units were met with a heavy fire load in the rear of the building and worked diligently to extinguish the fire. Holtsville units operated for about 2 hours.

On May 17th approximately 5:40pm, the Holtsville Fire Department responded to a brush fire in the Morris Ave park. At approximately 11:15 AM, the Holtsville Fire Department responded to a working structure fire in the Holbrook Fire District. Holtsville’s crew was the first mutual aid unit on scene and was utilized as the FAST team. Units operated for about an hour and a half before returning back to service.

Holtsville FD Responds to Medford for Structure Fire
The Holtsville Fire Department responded as a mutual aid engine to the Medford Fire Department today for a working structure fire. Upon arrival, the fire was partially extinguished and the Holtsville crew helped complete secondary searches as well as overhaul. Holtsville crews were back in service in just over an hour.
Holtsville FD Respond to Car Fire off Vautrin Ave
On January 16th around 1:30am the Holtsville Fire Department responded to a vehicle fire on Vautrin Ave. The fire was quickly brought under control with a response of two engines, the chief of the department, and second assistant chief. No injuries were reported.
