Last Evening, Holtsville firefighters responded to this house fire on Hopes Avenue. Shortly after receiving the alarm, the Second Assistant Chief was notified of a report of people trapped inside the home. Engine 5 arrived first due, shortly thereafter followed by 7 Truck. Members made an aggressive interior attack on the fire, while being met with heavy clutter conditions. One victim was removed from the house with the help of multiple mutual aid departments. Two people were transported to a local hospital. Members operated for about two hours before returning to service.

Early This Morning, Holtsville Engine 3 responded to this residential fire on Pineaire Avenue in the Farmingville Fire District. Engine 3 operated for 2 hours before returning to service.
This Afternoon, Holtsville 7 Truck responded to a Commercial Fire on Hudson Avenue in the Lake Ronkonkoma Fire District. 7 Truck operated with the First and Second Assistant Chief for over an hour before returning to service.
