Last Evening, Holtsville firefighters responded to this house fire on Hopes Avenue. Shortly after receiving the alarm, the Second Assistant Chief was notified of a report of people trapped inside the home. Engine 5 arrived first due, shortly thereafter followed by 7 Truck. Members made an aggressive interior attack on the fire, while being met with heavy clutter conditions. One victim was removed from the house with the help of multiple mutual aid departments.
