While taking up from a working fire in the Holbrook Fire District, Holtsville 7 Truck responded to this house fire on Marc Street in the Ronkonkoma Fire District. 7 Truck operated with the Chief of Department and First Assistant Chief for about an hour before returning to service. Holtsville Engine 3 provided coverage for the Ronkonkoma Fire District for the duration of the fire.
Earlier this morning, Holtsville 7 Truck responded to this house fire on Halbert Drive in the Holbrook Fire District. 7 truck operated with the First Due Crew from Holbrook to knock down fire in the crawl space, which extended to the first floor. 7 Truck operated with the Chief of Department and First Assistant Chief for about an hour before taking up to respond to another report of a house fire.
The Holtsville Fire Department send its thoughts and prayers to Officer Gallagher, The Gallagher Family and the Suffolk County Police Department in these trying times. Officer Gallagher was seriously injured in the line of duty earlier this week.
