Holtsville FD Responds to a Heavy Rescue on Nicolls Road
Holtsville Rescue 4 put the tools to work this morning at this vehicle accident on Nicolls Road. Rescue 4 and Engine 3 extricated the patient from the vehicle that was deep into a wooded area. Holtsville EMS transported the patient to a local hospital
Holtsville FD Responds to a Truck Fire
Holtsville Engine 5 responded to this truck fire at Zebra Technologies today. Members removed a large pile of paper shreddings that were burning inside the truck and extinguished them. The Chief of the Department, Second Assistant Chief, and Engine 5 operated for approximately 40 minutes before returning to service.
Holtsville FD Responded to a Vehicle Fire on LIE
On March 27th Holtsville Fire Department responded to a vehicle fire on the LIE that occurred as a result of a vehicle accident. Engine 3 extinguished the fire. Engine 5 and Holtsville EMS were also on scene.
Holtsville FD Responds to Holbrook Fire District for Structure Fire
This morning Holtsville Ladder 7 Responded to Holbrook Fire District as the second due truck for this house fire on Schmidt Ave. Members on Ladder 7 and Chief of the Department operated for about 2 hours before returning to service.
Holtsville FD Responds to Farmingville Fire District
This morning, Holtsville Engine 3 arrived to find fire out the windows at a house fire on Spurwoods Lane in the Farmingville Fire District. Members made an aggressive attack on the second floor fire. Engine 3 and the Chief of the Department operated for 2 hours before returning to service.
Holtsville Ladder 7 Responds to Ronkonkoma Fire District
Holtsville Ladder 7 arrived second due to this house fire on Willow Place in the Ronkonkoma Fire District. Ladder 7 worked with Ronkonkoma FD to locate and extinguish fire in the walls and in the attic. Ladder 7 and the First Assistant Chief operated for about 2 hours before returning to service.
Holtsville FD Responds to Mutual Aide Structure Fire in Ronkonkoma
Holtsville Ladder 7 operated as the second due truck at this residential fire on Carroll Avenue last night in the Ronkonkoma Fire District. Ladder 7 and the Chief of the Department operated for about 2 hours before returning to service.
Holtsville FD Responds to MVA on LIE Involving Fuel Spill
This Morning, members of the Holtsville Fire Department responded to a motor vehicle accident on the Long Island Expressway. While operating, they were notified of an additional accident involving a Tractor Trailer. Rescue 4 arrived on scene to find a Jackknifed Tractor Trailer that had its saddle tank ruptured.
